NPP needs a unifier and competent Alan Kyerematen – Lambussie MP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s Hon. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi, who represents the Upper West Region’s Lambussie Constituency, has praised Alan Kyerematen, a candidate for flagbearer, for his unshakable dedication to party unity and development.

Several lawmakers, including Hon. Bright Baligi, MP for Lambusie, and a group of youths led by Mr. Martin Boakye Gyasi, current president of the University of Ghana Students Representative Council, were on hand to support the former trade and industry minister.

The other members of parliament are Hon. Sylvester Tetteh, MP for Botiano-Ngleshie-Amanfrom; Hon. Davis Ansah-Opoku, MP for Moraeso; Hon. Abena Osei Asare (Mrs.); Hon. Peter Amewu; and Hon. Abena Osei Asare (Mrs.), MP for Atiwa and Deputy Minister for Finance.

Hon. Baligi, who spoke at the event, firmly believed that Mr. Kyerematen is the best person to lead the NPP.

“My colleague MPS and l, are privileged to be part of this historic occasion. On behalf of my colleagues and on my own behalf, I present to you the incoming president of Ghana, the man of action and integrity, the unifier, the man to rescue, rebuild, restore and reward the Party, the man of vision, Mr. Industry, Hon Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen.”

The Lambussie MP’s support for Alan Kyerematen demonstrates the confidence many party members have in his abilities to bring the NPP together and lead it to a prosperous future.

Mr. Kyerematen hopes to lead the party to victory in 2024 and bring about beneficial change for the country with his track record and dedication to advancement.

For his part, Mr. Boakye Gyasi, president of the Legon SRC, praised Hon. Alan Kyerematen as the nation’s and the youth’s future.

On Monday, June 12, Mr. Kyerematen turned in his nomination paperwork to the party’s Accra headquarters.

Mr. Kyeremanten was joined by a number of party members, including the former general secretary Nana Ohene Ntow, the former MP for Adenta, Hon. Yaw Buaben Asamoa, and others.

Speaking to the media after submitting his candidacy paperwork, Mr. Kyerematen expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the NPP to victory in the upcoming primary elections and end the party’s eight-year cycle.
