Hon. Alan Kyerematen, a former minister of trade and industry, was the first candidate to turn in his completed paperwork to run in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) primary elections in August 2023.
The forms were received by Mr. Evans Nimako, Director of Elections of the Party, who was accompanied by a large number of his supporters, including Members of Parliament, Ministers of State, former and current party officials, and youth organizations that all share his vision.
