Organized Labour to meet President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has invited representatives from organized labor to join a Presidential Dialogue regarding important matters impacting the public sector and the well-being of workers in Ghana.

The Dialogue will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 6 PM at Jubilee House, the conversation seeks to create a structured, candid, and solution-focused setting for interaction between the government and labor, in line with Ghana’s tradition of social partnership.

The conversation will center on reforms in public sector salaries, the sustainability of pensions, and associated labor market issues.

The president characterized the engagement as a key priority in the government’s wider economic stabilization and reform plan, aiming to achieve agreement on reforms that are equitable, transparent, and sustainable, while ensuring the protection of worker welfare and social justice.

Labour organizations are requested to verify their participation and select representatives for the dialogue. The President conveyed his eagerness for fruitful conversations during this significant national dialogue.
