Police arrest seven suspects over murder of Cossy Hill Hotel CEO

Last night, on February 11, 2024, the Ghana Police Service detained two more suspects in the continuing investigation into the murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, the CEO of the Cossy Hill Hotel in Jirapa, Upper West Region.

Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, both employees of the Cossy Hill Hotel, are the two suspects that are being held by the police.

As the investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s) moves forward, seven suspects have been detained thus far and are cooperating with the police.

On February 11, 2024, the body of the deceased was discovered in a pool of blood in one of the hotel rooms.

The incident site has been visited by the Regional Crime Scene Management Team.

One person was previously held to aid in the investigation.

In order to guarantee a comprehensive investigation into the incident, the Inspector-General of Police has also sent out a team of investigators and experts under the direction of the Director-General/CID to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command.

POLICE UPDATE: TWO ADDITIONAL SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF COSSY HILL HOTEL CEO AT JIRAPA

The Ghana Police Service, last night, 11th February 2024, arrested two (2) additional suspects in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region.

The two suspects, Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, both workers at the Cossy Hill Hotel, are in Police custody.

Seven suspects so far have been arrested and assisting the Police as the investigation continues to bring the perpetrator(s) to face justice.
