Police set a GH10,000 bounty on NDC thugs responsible for the mayhem at Cape Coast Congress

For any information that results in the arrest of 16 people who committed violent crimes during the National Democratic Congress’s Youth and Women’s Conference, the Ghana Police Service has offered a reward of GH10,000.

In the Central Regional Capital of Cape Coast on Saturday, December 10, 2022, the NDC held elections for leadership posts in its youth and women’s wing.

According to reports, the suspects from opposing parties’ factions engaged in a violent altercation that left three people hurt and damaged property.

“After an initial review of Police-specific video footages of the event, 16 suspects have so far been identified as some of the people involved in the violence and have been declared wanted.

“A GH¢10,000.00 reward has been set aside for any member of the public who can provide credible information to the police that can lead to the arrest of any of the suspects,” a statement from the police from Sunday, December 11, 2022.
