From Wednesday, August 24, 2022, the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will start a two-day working tour of the Savanna areas.
During this trip, he will examine ongoing projects, commission finished ones, meet with traditional leaders, and engage with locals in the two regions.
His tour of the Savanna Region included a Radio PAD interview, a courtesy visit to the Yagbonwura, a look at the IRECOP Project Savannah, and a durbar of the local Paramount Chiefs.
In Damongo, he will also dedicate the RCC Office Complex, the National Health Insurance Authority, and the Regional Ghana Education Service Headquarters.
Day two of the journey in the Savanna region will start with a courtesy call on the Wasipewura in the Daboya-Mankarigu Constituency.
Later, he will check out the Regional Health Directorate in Daboya and the ongoing construction on the Agenda 111 Hospital Project.
The President will next visit the Kusawguwura palace to survey the Fufulso-Bunjai Road.
After completing all of the aforementioned tasks during his working visit to these two regions, President Akufo-Addo will conclude his tour of them.
