The General Secretary hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Musah Iddrisu popularly known as Musah Superior is calling on the delegates in the party to support him win the General Secretary position.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Forestry Commission has dubbed his campaign as the “Peoples Campaign”.
According to him he has visited 75 constituencies in 12 regions so far, as part of his PEOPLE’S CAMPAIGN tour, and from what he observed, the current state of many polling station officers and constituency executives is an eyesore. He says about 61 percent of the last constituency officers, do not have a job or business to do.
“I have visited and interacted with a larger section of our party people and they are all buying into my brilliant ideas and plans for the NPP and so I am very confident that they will give me the nod to lead the party as the general secretary” he lamented.
Musah Superior also promised to build a National headquarters for the party if elected as the General Secretary of the party.
“If NDC can build a party office in the centre of Accra, how much more a party that has been in government for about five years now! Have you visited the party’s National headquarters before?” he quizzed adding that It’s very sad.
He called on all and sundry of the party to critically scrutinize his plans and repose their confidence in him for a new face of leadership.
Mr Superior is confident of winning and urged the delegates to vote massively for him in order to break the 8 coming 2024 general elections.
