In association with the New Vision Movement and the NAYAT Herbal Center, an online media company by the name of Teacher Kofi Media gave 10,000 Ghana cedis worth of goods to widows and orphans.
The funding for the donation, which was a component of the celebrations marking the end of the 2022 calendar year, came from the followers of Teacher Kofi Media, General Dr. Nana Yaw Tenkorang, the director of the NAYAT Herbal Center in Dansoman, and Mr. Kofi Koranteng, the head of the New Mission Movement.
On December 10,2022, at the presentation in Atwima Takyiman in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti, 66 widows were given clothing, rice, oil, sardines, and money.
General Dr. Nana Yaw Tenkorang, who presented the items, stated that the contribution was made in an effort to brighten the many widows’ faces on this particular day.
He appealed to well to do individuals and other corporate organizations to make it a point and support the marginalized in society.
The independent presidential candidate for 2022, Mr. Kofi Koranten, chose to support the donation, according to Adelaide Ama Agyeman, who spoke on behalf of the New Vision Movement, because of his concern for widows.
She clarified that Mr. Kofi Koranteng is not running for president of Ghana out of personal ambition, but rather to ensure that every Ghanaian, especially the young, has access to ample opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.
For a better future, she urged the youth to embrace the New Mission Movement.
After receiving the supplies, some of the widows thanked the organisations for their kind assistance.
They expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to this worthy cause.
