Ernest Yaw Anim, the NPP’s candidate for the Kumawu seat in parliament, has pleaded with the locals to support him in order to keep the seat for the party if they truly desire further progress.

In an interview with Dr. Cash on Otec FM’s live Dwabrem broadcast from Kumawu, Mr. Anim said that if locals vote for NPP to keep the seat, there would be more ongoing development projects in the region.

He claimed that the late Hon. Philip Basoah, a former member of parliament for Kumawu, had already secured a number of projects for the district before his untimely demise, therefore should locals continue to support the NPP, it would be advantageous for the party to give them other projects.

Ernest Yaw Anim however debunked claims that he and his team were buying votes with some cups of rice which a videos have been circulating on social media for days now.According to him, the donation of rice to some residents was done by some loved ones even without his knowledge until the video came out.
