At the J. A. Kuffour Housing project at Oyoko Akrofrom in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region, 70 housing units have been completed, according to Minister of Works and Housing Hon. Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah.

The Minister claims that the final 30 housing units are in varying states of development and will soon be completed and handed over to interested parties.

In the meanwhile, the Minister has commissioned 26 of the constructed housing units.

This is subsequent to the acquisition of the 26 housing units for its officers by the Ghana Immigration Service.

He said that the State Housing Company (SHC) on behalf of the government has initiated a methodical housing unit distribution program throughout the nation.

As a result, he added, the business has built eight housing states around the nation, giving Ghanaians access to hundreds of homes since 2017.

He continued by saying that the government will finish the affordable housing developments in Tamale and Koforidua that were initiated during the Kufuor era.
