Former president John Dramani Mahama has once more criticized the Akufo-Addo administration. Mahama promised that his next term in office would be special.
In opposition to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) continuing of business as usual, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer vowed to govern with vision and generosity.
He also blasted the President and his vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for damaging Ghana’s standing as a democratic country. He asked Ghanaians to vote for the government in the upcoming elections on December 7, 2024.
In his address to Ghanaians in September, Mr. Mahama, who appears to be prepared for the general elections of 2024, urged them to maintain democracy.
“The actions and incompetent governance of Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have completely eroded Ghana’s democratic goodwill. Political credibility is at an all-time low, never experienced in the history of the 4th Republic. The upcoming December 07, 2024, election is therefore crucial to restoring faith in our constitutional democracy” Mahama posted on his Twitter page.
