I love the LORD, because He hears My voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live. Psalms 116:1-2

It is most instructive to know that men of wisdom we aspire to emulate, or even surpass in life someday, draw strengths not from the worldly powers, but from a God in whom all powers dwell.

This remains the prime reason Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu would not cease to present himself before his Maker, and to offer his widow’s mite as a way of showing appreciation to God.

For this and many good reasons, the Majority Leader/Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, was at the UpperRoom Assemblies of God Church, Patasi in the Ashanti Region, Sunday 17th day of September, 2022, to confer with God.

Preaching under the theme ‘Determination Destroys Frustrations’, Rev. Adu Gyamfi encouraged the faithful never to allow their prevailing challenges to discourage their moves today.

Sitting in the temple, I could witness manifestation of a spirit-filled sermon in Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu (Hon MP). He presents a shining instrument through whom a beam of humility passes to emit hope, favour, prosperity, wisdom and blessings.

With a wonderful rendition of ‘Awurade aye me yie’ song from the church Choir, the Sompahene Nana Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, flanked by his Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, the Suame NPP Chairman, Mr. Abban Duker Justice, some Assembly Members, Electoral Area Coordinators and the entire Executives of the Suame Constituency, walked, majestically in the Lord, to the altar to express his appreciation to God for three things that had happened to him over the period.

First was God’s protection over the period and haven sailed through the storms in what appeared to be a difficult moment at constituency.

He also thanked his Creator for lifting high his hand from amongst the many with his election as Vice Chairman of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association last August in Nava Scotia, Canada

Majority Leader is of the view that this time, when world keeps recognizing his contributions towards its betterment, he must not be complacent that it is by his strength. but that it is God in whom he seeks shelter always.

Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu concluded by singing to the glory of God and further advised the congregants to remain steadfast in the Lord even in their tribulations. For the Lord uses such storms to prepare His children to glories.
