Asiedu Nketia’s son wins Tano South seat in NDC primaries

Charles Asiedu, son of Johnson Asiedu Nketia and National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has won the Tano South constituency seat.

Charles Asiedu served as the NDC’s immediate past organizer in the Brong Ahafo Region.

By 698 votes, he won.

The other two candidates, David and Osman, received 189 and 109 votes, respectively.

The son of Dr. Kwabena Duffour, however, has failed in his attempt to represent the party in the general elections in 2024.

Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jr. lost the Sekyere Afram Plains seat by 9 votes, according to provisional results.
