John Abdulai Jinapor, the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, received a courtesy call from Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson to discuss important matters pertaining to the energy industry.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday, March 12, aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two ministries in solving the country’s energy concerns.
In his Facebook announcement of the visit, Mr. Jinapor referred to Dr. Ato Forson as a colleague, friend, and brother.
He emphasized the significance of their conversations by saying,, “I received my brother, friend and colleague, the Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson.
We used the opportunity to discuss the challenges in the Energy sector and how to overcome them.”
In order to provide a steady and effective energy supply, especially as Ghana works through its energy transition program, the meeting had been projected to improve interministerial cooperation.
The interaction between the Finance and Energy Ministries may result in strategic solutions for finance and policy execution, considering the crucial role that financing plays in energy initiatives.
The government’s dedication to tackling energy-related issues and guaranteeing sustainable economic growth is demonstrated by Dr. Ato Forson’s visit.
