Christian Atsu’s one-week memorial is set to begin on March 4, 2023, on Saturday.

On February 6, 2023, a catastrophic 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck sections of Turkey and Syria claimed the life of the 31-year-old football player.
Last Sunday, February 19, 2023, the corpse of the late Atsu was transported to Ghana from Turkey.
After an 11-story building fell on Atsu and others in Turkey, his dead corpse was pulled from the debris.
