Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, majority leader and minister of parliamentary affairs, has informed the Special Delegates that H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a guy with great intellectual qualities who is prepared to govern the country in the current era.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio this morning, Friday, August 25, 2023, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu expressed his opinion that given the situation of our economy, Ghana cannot continue to experiment with its future leadership. He continued by saying that as a leader, it is his responsibility to instill trust and set an example, which is why he has publicly backed the Vice President.
The Suame legislator gave credence to the exceptional human relations of the Vice President, his innovative thinking that provide the nation with survival during uncertain periods, and his highest degree of emotional intelligence which enables him to bring people of diverse ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds under one umbrella for a peaceful coexistence.
The Majority Leader affirmed that all 10 aspirants who have presented themselves for the election have contributed their quotas to the government in their various sectors, but went further to assure the delegates that H.E Dr. Bawumia presents the best of options giving all criteria put forth by the Party and the current direction taken by the world economy, including Ghana.
The Majority Leader assured the Special Delegates that a resounding victory for Dr Bawumia tomorrow, and subsequently on November 4, shall never be a disappointment to their welfare and that of mother Ghana in general.
