ECG donates 200 motorbikes to Ghana Police to improve operations

As part of the company’s attempt to support police operations across the country, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) donated 200 motorcycles to the Ghana Police Service yesterday, December 11, 2023.

Members of the Police Management Board and a few ECG employees attended the donation, which was held at the National Police headquarters.

In addition to leading the company’s management toward the donation, Mr. Keli Gadzekpo, the Board Chairman of ECG, promised to deliver an additional 800 motorcycles in batches.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector-General of Police, thanked the ECG Management for the donation.

He claimed that the government had provided strong support for the Ghana Police Service’s efforts to maintain efficient and reliable operation.

In his remarks, Mr. Samuel Dubik, the Managing Director of ECG, expressed gratitude for the work being done by the Ghana Police Service despite the risks and challenges associated with their operations.

Additionally, motorbike riders in the Ghana Police Service showcased their riding prowess.
