The workers of GIHOC Distilleries Limited in Accra is seeking for the dismissal of Maxwell Kofi Jumah as managing director due to mismanagement.

The personnel, who staged a demonstration outside the company’s headquarters, reportedly claimed that Mr. Jumah’s poor management had a negative impact on the payment of salaries and Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) contributions.

The staff, who were wearing red armbands, urged the government to quickly fire Maxwell Kofi Jumah because, since becoming the MD six years ago, he had made the fortunes of GIHOC distilleries worse.
