The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Disciplinary Committee has called Hopeson Adorye, a representative of the Alan Kyerematen Campaign Team, to account for claims of vote-buying he made at the Party’s Special Delegates Conference.

Hopeson Adorye said in a widely shared video that the Chief of Staff had given some delegates money to sway their vote in the election during an interview with the media at the NPP headquarters.

Adorye was led into the committee room on Thursday after arriving at the Party’s headquarters, where he responded to inquiries from a panel.

Adorye would be called before the disciplinary committee to defend his claims, according to a statement made on Sunday, August 27, 2023 by Justin Kodua Frimpong, General Secretary of the NPP.

The Committee is also anticipated to meet with Hopeson Adorye, Raphael Patrick Sarfo, Charles Dokyi Yaw-Addo, and Musa Sulemana for violating the election’s established regulations, which the Party considers to be misconduct.
