“I stand ready to work with all those you elect to lead our great party” – Mahama to NDC delegates

John Dramani Mahama, a former president, has said he is open to working with any leader chosen at the National Delegates Congress on Saturday.

In advance of the general elections in 2024, almost 9,000 delegates from all around the nation have gathered at the Accra Sports Stadium to elect new national leaders.

The former president underlined in his remarks to the delegates that he has no favorites and is prepared to collaborate with any national delegate chosen to represent the interests of struggling Ghanaians.

“I repeat my position of neutrality in the various contest, let me say again that I do not have any preferred candidate for any position and I urge all delegates to vote based on your own appreciation of the messages of aspirants and your conviction about their capacity to work in the larger interest of the party.”

“I stand ready to work with all those you elect to lead our great party and to contribute my quota to our objectives which primarily revolves around saving this country and building the Ghana we want,” Mahama stated.

The lives and life savings of Ghanaians have been imperiled, according to Mr. Mahama, who also said that the NPP administration’s six years of poor management, which resulted in the debt restructuring.
