Indian High Commissioner pays coutesy call on Speaker

India’s High Commissioner for Ghana, His Excellency Sugandh Rajaram, paid a courtesy visit to President Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin in Parliament today.

The High Commissioner underscored the importance of the India-Ghana partnership, stating that Ghana and India have shared a strong bond of gratitude since independence.

Commissioner called for more cooperation between the two countries and led to the release of Rt.Hon Speaker describing the High Commissioner’s commitment to the 16 regions of Ghana in terms of cooperation between Indian-Ghanaian communities and their social impact on educational and cultural programs.

President Bagbin commended Mr. Rajaram for his publication and his continued efforts to cement the friendship between Ghana and India which has been enjoying over the years.

He added that the friendship between the two countries will be further strengthened.
