The National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, has hinted at the identity of his running mate.
In accordance with the NDC’s strategy, he stated that the running partner will be revealed in 2024, but he also revealed some information about the likely contender.
Speaking this week while on his #BuildingGhana trip in the Bono East Region, Mr. Mahama urged party members to use caution and hold off until next year.
He stated that a person who had served as a minister in his cabinet and successfully carried out his duties is most likely to be his running mate.
He continued by saying that his prospective running mate is a modest individual who prioritizes the needs of the populace.
When he encountered party members in the Bono East Region, he said this.
Mr. Mahama went on to say that since the party has procedures in place for choosing a running mate, they will be adhered to.
Speaking in Twi, Mr. Mahama stated that everyone is aware of the person’s nature—they are knowledgeable, humble, and work for everyone. They have also served as ministers in his government and have a meticulous approach to their tasks.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman served as his running companion in the 2020 elections.
