Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh, the municipal chief executive for the Amenfi West municipality in the Western region, has pleaded with the CEO of the Ghana Cocobod to hasten the completion of cocoa roads in the region.

Speaking to the media, he thanked the CEO for his wonderful assistance but also took the chance to urge him to expedite the construction of the roads that had been given to contractors so that business transactions could take place.

The Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh told commuters that roads will be built quickly to lessen their difficulties.

“In fact, I can claim that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo administration is the only one to have given contracts for a number of our roads during the fourth republic. We have done a lot of redesigning, and some roads have undoubtedly been finished, but given that it is rainfall season, I will beg commuters to be patient with us because we will finish the roads as soon as the rainy season is through.

“I will thank the CEO of Cocobod for his outstanding support. By calling him, I hope to enlist his help in completing the municipality’s cocoa roads. We anticipate paying the contractors soon so they can finish building our roads now that cocoa season has begun.
