Dr. Hassan Ayariga, the founder and flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), has declared that if elected president in the general elections of 2024, either former president John Dramani Mahama or vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would perform poorly.

Noting that his administration is what Ghanaians need in the current situation, he declared that Vice President Dr. Bawumia would be “disastrous” in office and that Former President Mahama would be “worse.”

Dr. Ayariga emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s policy approach would be terrible under his leadership since it might impair the social and economic stability of the country.

Dr. Ayariga also criticized the previous administration of John Mahama, saying that his coming back to power will make the problems worse.

The statements were made by the APC flagbearer during a press conference on Tuesday in Accra.

“Both of them becoming President Mahama will be worse, Bawumia will be disastrous, and Hassan Ayariga will be better,” Dr. Ayariga stated.

However, Dr Ayariga explained that his policies would be markedly different and more beneficial for the country.

“You will see the policies that I’m going to implement are totally different from what they are doing,” he told media.

In his remarks, the APC leader emphasized the important role his party plays in advocating for a change in the political landscape of Ghana. It’s unclear if voters will take heed of Dr. Ayariga’s cautions and let them affect the next election. Dr. Ayariga and the APC shall persist in their push for reform and a new chapter in Ghanaian history that centers on the welfare of all citizens until December 7, 2024.
