Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has denied accusations that he is a party mole.

This comes after claims that he is a mole and can’t be trusted to be the party’s leader.

Additionally, Mr. Johson Asiedu Nketia, his rival in the NDC Chairmanship campaign, charged him with neglecting to provide pertinent information during the petition for the 2020 election.

Asiedu Nketia described his struggle in what is thought to be a leaked speech to certain party supporters, saying he found it difficult to defend the party in court.

However, Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo stated that he can never be a mole in the party during an appearance on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Friday monitored by Ghanatodayonline.com.

He continued by claiming to be an NDC member beyond redemption.

He claimed that because he has worked for the NDC for half of his life, it is hard for him to betray the organization.

“Do you know how long I have served the NDC? I am 60 years and I have served the NDC for 30 years- half of my life on this earth. It is sometimes very strange for someone in the party with the wildest imagination to suggest the least that the Chairman of the party is the mole in that party..does it make sense?” Mr Ampofo questioned.

The aspirant Chairman claims that such remarks wounded him.

He continued by saying that it was unfair of his opponents to refer to him in such a way.

Because I give my all to NDC when it comes to the party, my family has referred to NDC as my first wife and my real wife as my second wife.

Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo advised anyone with evidence that he is a party mole to come up with it because of this.
