NPP begins parliamentary vetting today

An Extraordinary Constituency Delegate’s Conference has been approved by the National Council of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

On Friday, September 8, 2023, at all Regional Party offices, the vetting procedure for candidates for parliament will be carried out as part of this conference. Following that, the Constituency level Extraordinary Constituency Delegates Conference is scheduled for Sunday, September 10, 2023.

This procedure involves a number of stakeholders, such as Suaman, Anlo, North Dayi, Nadowli/Kaleo, Sagnarigu, and Kumbungu.

The others are Upper Manya Krobo, New Edubiase, Bolgatanga East, Pusiga, Ada, La Dadekotopon, Buem, Biakoye, Amenfi West, and Builsa North.

In a statement issued by the Party and signed by its General Secretary Justin Kodua, the Regional Executive Committees have been directed to take the required actions to ensure the orderly conduct of the Delegates Conference and the efficient screening of candidates in the aforementioned seats.
