Today, Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Mr. Alan Kyerematen, one of the front-runners in the campaign to head the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections, met with the clergy to announce his decision to run for president. He will be joined by his wife Patricia Kyerematen.

The Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra served as the location for the breakfast meeting.

The purpose of the breakfast gathering was to engage the clergy and further seek their counsel and support for the objectives of the resigned trade and industry minister as he moves forward with his presidential campaign.

Along with other things, it was to get their opinions on what could be done to help the nation out of its current economic crisis.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Alan Kyeremanten expressed his joy at meeting Christian brothers and sisters who have defended their religion in the nation despite hardships.

Prophet Isaac Owusu-Bempah of the Glorious World International Church, Archbishop Salifu Amoako, Rev. Dr. Christie Doe Tetteh, and Rev. Robert Ampiah-Kwofie were among the many other Christian leaders present at the gathering.
