The Honourable Member of Parliament for the good people of Suame, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, keeps soaring above expectations of ordinary minds with unrelenting service to his Constituents, the Ashanti Region, mother Ghana and the World at large.
The Majority Leader, who doubles as the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and the Leader of Government Business of the Republic of Ghana, and currently the Vice President of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, ensures that every facet of his assigned responsibilities receive the needed attention. And that his people are not kept in the dark on matters concerning Government Business in the august House of Legislature.
In spite of his busiest of schedules, and what looked-like a well orchestrated strategy meant to dissipate his wisdom-filled energy for keeping Party(NPP) and Ghana going, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu proved he is filled with the two main ingredients required of a modern day leader; _Servant Leadership and Emotional Control.
As required of a good Member of Parliament during recess, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was in constituency over the weekend to fulfill this constitutional obligation too. He had meetings with his Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, and the Constituency Executives of the NPP in Suame to attend to the welfare of Suame Municipality and the grassroots party which has given birth to the Government he is a servant of.
On Sunday, Majority Leader availed himself to all manner of persons, irrespective of political affiliations, to listen to their grievances and to see how best, together, we can fashion out solutions to as many as he could.
He later joined the Regional Party for the Regional Council Meeting meant to strengthen the forward march of the Party in the region.
On Monday, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu dedicated the entire day to Community Engagements. As it was practically impossible to reach out to all through community meetings, he used the availability of the fourth estate, the Media, to discuss pertinent issues of national interest and to educate the region on government business. This started at 8:00am at Angel Fm through Sikka Fm to Otec Fm, closing eventually at 5.00pm. He used the opportunities offered to provide responses to questions that are agitating the minds of citizens.
Undoubtedly, soothing responses from high-profiled personalities such as Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu provide the highest form government assurances to the grassroots.
The Majority Leader has since left Kumasi this morning, Tuesday, 16th August, 2022, to continue his work in Accra.
