Gabby Otchere-Darko, a prominent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), disagrees with the controversy made by former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo on the inclusion of retirees in the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme(DDEP).
Even though he sympathizes with individuals picketing, Mr. Otchere-Darko, a relative of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, noted in a tweet on Sunday that he finds it challenging to comprehend why they are requesting to be excused from a voluntary enhanced offer program.
“Why picket over an offer that you have the liberty not to accept?” he quizzed
According to him, the former Chief Justice “erred big time in her basic appreciation of the issues.”
