The National Democratic Congress (NDC) youth organizer in the Ashanti region’s Suame Constituency has been granted bail by the Asokwa Circuit Court.

Razak Koampa Avoliya was accused of inappropriate behavior, but he entered a not guilty plea.

Evans Amankwa led a group of five attorneys who prayed for their client’s release on bond on Valentine’s Day, asking the judge to show the accused some love.

The prosecutor, ACP Kofi Blagodzi, informed the court that the investigations were completed despite not opposing the bail application.

Additionally, he informed the court that the footage had been forwarded to the Bureau of Language for transcription.

The court, presided over by His Honor Fred Obikyere, thus, granted bail to the accused.

The accused, known as “Mosquito,” was given bail for GHC 50,000 with two sureties, and was ordered to appear again on March 9, 2023.

In a now-viral conversation with a journalist, the accused urged NDC youth to fight and even kill NPP supporters in order for John Mahama to win the presidency in 2024.
