Mr. Boakye Agyarko, who served as the energy minister during President Akufo-first Addo’s term in office, has urged delegates of the governing New Patriotic Party to use their votes carefully by choosing men and women who can guide the party through these trying times.

On July 16 and 17, the NPP will host its National Annual Delegates Conference at the Accra Sports Stadium to pick the party’s national executives for the ensuing four years.

Mr. Boakye Agyarko said that the party is going through a difficult time and needs men and women who can assist the party weather the storm in a brief video he made to deliver his message to the party before the conference.

“These officers are going to lead us through difficult and dirty times.

“It is my added prayer that apart from the orderly and fair conduct of the elections we will consciously select men and women of such sterling qualities so as to make our passage through these challenging times smooth and successful,” he said.
Mr. Agyarko reminded the party’s delegates that the party and the citizens of Ghana anticipate them to choose capable and competent men and women.
Mr. Agyarko urged everyone who had been granted the precious privilege of voting to use it properly and in the best interests of his or her party.
