Police arrest man for vandalizing property at Parliament

After damaging multiple vehicles and other items on the premises of Parliament in Accra, a young guy was taken into custody.

According to reports, the suspect, who was wearing white, broke the windows and windscreens of roughly seven cars that were parked in front of the parliamentary buildings.

The man’s precise motivation is unknown, although eyewitnesses say he seemed mentally challenged.

“Don’t kill them, Daddy. “Don’t destroy my people, Daddy,” he yelled as he was carried away, gazing up at the sky.

In order to stop additional harm, the on-duty police officers stepped in and arrested the perpetrator.

A comment regarding the incident has not yet been released by the authorities.
