The Central Regional Deputy Youth Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Bright Botchway has charged it’s youth in the various Tertiary institutions to crack the whip and ensure that they recaptures power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2024.
Mr Botchway, tasked the student body when he joined the Tertiary Education Institution Network(TEIN) at the University of Winneba- Ajumako Campus (UEW-AJUMAKO) of the party at their maiden general meeting.
Addressing the media, Mr Botchway said, the NPP and Nana Addo led administration have woefully failed Ghanaians considering the fat promises they made to the masses prior to the 2016-2020 polls, and for that reason the essence for the vibrant youth of the NDC like TEIN to rise up to preach to Ghanaians of the super incompetence, economic mismanagement of the governing NPP that has greeted the country.
He further said the NPP members can attest to the fact that, the party’s uncountable promises made to the Ghanaians during the last elections have not delivered anything paramount hence the need for the youth to set the tone on taking back the power from the NPP in the 2024 elections.
He entreated them to strategically position themselves in a way that will give them the needed recognition in the party especially as the party is in opposition.
During the engagement, all speakers seized the opportunity and charged Tein members and staunch NDC faithfuls present to adopt their branches as soon as possible and ensure its effectiveness as they gear towards recapturing power from this extra inept Nana Addo-Bawumia led administration.
According to the Deputy Regional Youth Organizer (in charge of Operations)in his media engagement Mr. Bright Botchway, was highly enthused that the party is utterly very attractive to the youth due to the innovative activities introduced by the National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo and his team.
He then urged the Youth and all lovers of the party to work assiduously to recapture power come 2024.
He also expressed his gratitude to all Patrons who were in attendance to grace the occasion; Former Appointees, Constituency Executives and Regional Executives, Members of Parliament, notably the Ranking Member of the Finance Committee in Parliament who is also the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
