Hon Emmanuel Agyei Anwhere celebrates 60th milestone with PWDs

The Member of Parliament for Atwima-Nwabiagya South, Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anwhere, was today, Tuesday 20th of September, 2022, joined by the Majority Leader of Ghana’s 8th Parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, to celebrate 60years of meaningful existence on Earth.

Known amongst his constituents as P. Kolo, a  manifestly joyous Agyei Anwhere, flanked by his wife, his Party Executives, the Anglican Priest of Nkawie, the Director of Social Welfare and friends from near and afar, honoured Persons With Disabilities (PWD) within his Constituency.

The Vice President of the Republic, HE Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, graced the occasion with a zoom call during the celebration to show solidarity with the affable but humble MP, Emmanuel Agyei Anwhere, on the occasion and to express his appreciation to the MP for choosing to celebrate the day with PWDs.

Hon Anwhere in short speech told the PWDs that, the call to celebrate the day with them was mainly to assure them that, regardless of their challenges in life, the NPP Government holds them in high esteem, and would do everything possible to continue making them relevant and purposeful citizens in society.

He used the occasion to present 100 Plastic Chairs, 30 Wheel Chairs and an undisclosed amount of money (T&T) to the PWD Association in the Atwima-Nwabiagya South to help the Association in their forward march.

The Majority Leader, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, in sharing the joy of his friend, colleague MP and brother, Agyei Anwhere, expanded the contribution of the celebrant to the work of Parliament, Ashanti Region, and mother Ghana in general. He called on the constituents to jealously guard against any forces that may rise against such a fine gentleman in the august house of Parliament as attrition affects effective service delivery which eventually retards growth.
