The preliminary results of 43,742 candidates who registered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private students, 2022 – second series, have been made public by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
20, 164 men and 23, 578 females made up the entry numbers.
Two candidates had hearing disability, and 76 had visual impairment.
The scores of 901 candidates who are allegedly engaged in a number of examination fraud cases have been kept awaiting the outcome of the fraud investigations.
The WAEC lists these irregularities as requesting outside help, impersonation, taking alien objects into the test room, and using mobile phones.
According to WAEC, the findings of inquiries will determine whether or not to disclose the candidates’ withheld results.
You can access the findings online at www.waecgh.org.
