Mohammed Quaye, who served as the municipal chief executive of the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly, has resigned.
Quaye said that the move was motivated by poor health in a letter to President Akufo-Addo.
In a letter intercepted by Ghanatodayonline.com he stated that in as much as I would like to continue serving in my role, I believe it would be in the best interest of the municipality to have someone who can continue to maintain the high standards and efficiency that our government demands.
