In an investigation into her recent media comments regarding the party’s 2024 electoral loss, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has formally called former Dome Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo to appear before its Disciplinary Committee.

Patrick Boamah, the Disciplinary Committee Secretary, and William Yamoah, the Director of Finance and Administration, sent out the notice on March 24, 2025.

The hearing is set to take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Conference Room of the NPP Headquarters, located at Asylum Down, Accra.

The letter advises Adwoa Safo to produce any relevant documented evidence or witnesses to assist the inquiry. She also has the right to legal counsel throughout the process.

The notice suggests that Safo provide any pertinent witnesses or documentation to back up the investigation. She also has the right to legal counsel while the proceedings are underway.

For her reference, the General Secretary’s referral letter is provided, and the party has asked for confirmation of her attendance.

The NPP urged cooperation in the situation and reaffirmed its commitment to the values of justice, transparency, and due process.

The National Chairman, the General Secretary, and the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee are among the important party officials who have received copies of the notice.
