Ayoba celebrates 2 million active users in Ghana

Here in Ghana, MTN Ayoba has now attracted two million users.

This all-in-one instant messaging super software was created to close the digital gap and foster economic growth in Africa by removing obstacles to internet access, digital services, and pricing.

Ayoba is more than just a platform or an application.

It uses an African identity and values-based connections to bring people together.

It was introduced in 2019, became accessible to consumers in Ghana in 2020, and as of today, the African continent has more than 10 million subscribers.

The world’s class messaging software, which is free for all MTN customers and represents local needs and ambitions, has recently evolved into the “Super App” status.

There are presently 22 languages supported by Ayoba across Africa and the Middle East.

Commenting on the milestone, Dario Bianchi, the Chief Digital Officer of MTN Ghana expressed his excitement about the fact that Africans and for that matter Ghanaians are gradually accepting Ayoba as a messaging app. “Considering its unique features, we encourage Africans to use it and share the benefits it brings”, he said.

The use of Ayoba in Ghana is continuing to increase, which is fantastic to watch, continued Mr. Bianchi.

The app’s excellent selection of experiences keeps users happy and interested.

Millions of people have access to Ayoba since its introduction, and there are now two million users in Ghana.
