Today Friday, February 10, 2023, Hon. Boakye Agyarko, a former energy minister and founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), will launch his statewide campaign tour under the banner of “Restoring Hope” in an effort to win the NPP’s presidential candidacy.
This is a part of his vision, which also touches on the need for the party and its supporters to go back to the old traditions and principles in order to restore the optimism that served as the foundation for the party and will be a crucial component of the New Patriotic Party’s success in the general elections of 2024.
The NPP founding member intends to set the greatest example by beginning his national campaign trip in the Eastern region’s Krobo bloc, which is where his mother is originally from.
This is a sign of respect and a request for their blessing to his matrilineal home.
In the bloc, Hon. Boakye Agyarko is renowned for being a genuine son and making significant contributions to the improvement of his matrilineal land.
According to a reliable source, Hon. Boakye Agyarko, a statesman and devoted NPP member, would meet briefly with the NPP Eastern regional executives to, among other things, connect with them and brief them on the specifics of his trip of the region.
After that, he will meet with the Executives and Electoral Area Coordinators of the constituencies of Asuogyaman, Lower Manya Krobo, Upper Manya Krobo, and Yilo Krobo.
His father’s house will be the next destination on the campaign trip where their approval will also be sought.
The Sekyere zone of the Ashanti Region, which encompasses Ejisu, Juaben, Effiduase-Asokore, Mampong, Sekyere Afram Plains, Kumawu, Ejura Sekyere-Dumase, Nsuta Kwamang Beposo, and Afigya Sekyere East, is home to Mr. Kwasi Agyarko, the father of Hon. Boakye Agyarko.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko will go to other constituencies in the nation to engage delegates and discuss with them his vision and the need to position the NPP for success in 2024 following these significant trips to his two homes.
