Ghana international Christian Atsu found dead in Turkey

Following the earthquake in Turkey, Ghanaian foreigner Christian Atsu was discovered dead after being buried in the debris for days.

The 31-year-old football player is survived by his wife Marie-Claire Rupio and their two children.

The tragic news of Atsu’s passing was announced on Twitter by his agent Nana Sechere on Saturday morning.

 

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well wishers that sadly Christian Atsu’s body was recovered this morning,” his agent posted on his Twitter page.
