The Nyankyerenease M/A JHS received I.C.T. equipment from the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Hon. Dr Kingsley Nyarko, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

This act was inspired by his earlier visit to the school, during which the head of school pleaded with the Hon MP to outfit the ICT lab.

A brief ceremony was performed at the school to accept the donation, which included 20 personal computers, 1 projector, 1 plotter, 20 tables, and 40 seats.

This will support the government’s “Girls in ICT” initiative and its male equivalents in the classroom.

The honorable MP praised Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a former member of parliament and the current minister of food and agriculture, for initiating the construction of the ICT lab.

He praised everyone who helped make the initiative a reality, including the PTA and school administration.

In order for the youngsters to benefit from being technologically advanced in this fast-paced international world, the Hon. MP has ensured that the facility is operational.

“ Let’s remain united to continue to build Kwadaso to be a safer place to live as I continue to push for Kwadaso to be one of the best if not the best constituency  in the country”.

The Hon. MP further said that he has acquired a kindergarten block, a classroom building with six units, and another classroom building with six units for Takyiman Basic School.

He predicted that the sod will be cut fairly soon.
