Razak Kuampa Avoliya, a National Democratic Congress (NDC) Suame Constituency Youth Organizer, has been remanded into police prison by the Asokwa Circuit Court for allegedly instigating violence.

The suspect will show up in court once more on February 14, 2023.

The NDC executive has been accused of acting offensively.

The accused’s plea was not heard in court on Thursday, February 9, 2033, which was presided over by His Honor Fred Obikyire.

Hundreds of party members flocked to the courtroom to support the defendant.

After the court hearings, the accused’s attorney, Evans Amankwaah, voiced concern about how the court rejected a bail request he made on behalf of his client in an interview with Jacob Agyenim Boateng of Ghanatodayonline.com.

Although they disagree with the court’s ruling, he said, they have the choice to submit to it right now and wait to see if their request for bail will be granted at the subsequent postponed date.

On February 8, 2023, the Ashanti Regional Police Command detained the Suspect for instigating political violence.

In an interview with Oyerapa, the youth organizer reportedly incited political violence by saying he was willing to kill two people to bring the NDC to power in the general elections of 2024.
