“Dr. Bawumia and Napo are achievers and they are worthy successors of me. Sell this golden NPP ticket to Ghanaians to ensure victory for the NPP on December 7”, President Akufo-Addo told Ghanaians.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, often known as “Napo,” has impressed President Nana Akufo-Addo ever since they first met, according to the president.
“Napo always impress me,” the president declared passionately on Sunday during the party’s 2024 Election Manifesto launch in Takoradi, in front of a large gathering of NPP officials and supporters.
He describes Napo as a visionary, capable, and industrious guy. He also says that Napo has always completed assignments that he (Akufo-Addo) handed him with excellence.
“Napo always impress me, in 2012 he was the director of my election campaign and he worked to perfection. In 2017, I tasked him with the free SHS policy and he introduced it to perfection” he said.
“And as energy minister, not only has he kept the lights on, he has also restructured our energy sector”, indicating that indeed Dr. Prempeh is “an achiever” so he would be perfect vice president for Dr. Bawumia.
President Akufo-Addo also heaped tons of praises on Dr. Bawumia, whom he also described as “an achiever”, describing Dr. Bawumia’s many excellent accomplishments during his tenure as vice president.
The First Gentleman of the Land urged the people to support the NPP in order for the party to continue holding political power, saying he was certain that Napo and Dr. Bawumia would be honorable successors to his administration.
