Sarah Adwoa Safo, a Member of Parliament(MP) for the Dome-Kwabenya seat, has praised President Akufo-Addo for the chance to work in his administration.

In reaction to the President’s decision to revoke her appointment as Minister of Gender, she wrote to him on August 5, 2022, saying: “It is with profound gratitude that I express utmost appreciation to you for the opportunity to serve as Minister in both terms of your government.

Even though I was only there for a short while, it was a privilege to work at this crucial Ministry.

The Dome Kwabenya lawmaker claimed that the development gave her the chance to concentrate on her parliamentary responsibilities and constituent engagements.

“Cognizant of my duties to the 75,000 constituents who elected me, this development is opportune and will afford me more time to concentrate on my Parliamentary responsibilities and Constituency engagements as well as consolidate the gains we have made as a government at the Constituency level in our quest to break the eight,” she states in her statement to the President of the republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
